Parking is available throughout many lots located at and around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Available on many different surfaces such as pavement, grass, gravel and dirt, there are plenty of locations to choose from that are near your seating location. Make sure to reserve your parking early as these lots go fast!

Non-Race Day Daily Parking & Tailgating

On non-race days during events daily parking is available around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tailgating is also available in these areas, providing a fun experience for all fans during events. Daily parking and tailgating is permitted in the following lots:

  • Main Gate
  • Lot 2
  • Lot 3 Grass
  • Lot 7 (North 40)
  • Lot 1B

Grilling is allowed in the daily parking and tailgating areas on small portable grills. No dumping of charcoal or ashes is allowed.

Portable shelters (i.e. E-Z Up shelters) no larger than 10 feet by 10 feet are allowed in designated daily parking and tailgating lots. They must be set up behind the vehicle, not taking another parking spot or hindering vehicle or pedestrian travel areas. Shelters must be secured to the vehicle.

All shelters must be put away by the race starting time on Race Day in Lots 1B, 2 & 3 Grass.

  • Located on Georgetown Road, between Gate 9 and Gate 9A

  • Located on Georgetown Road, south of 30th street.
  • Daily parking only, no overnight parking or camping is permitted.
LOT 4
  • Located at the corner of 25th and Georgetown Road
  • RV and Tent Camping

LOT 4A Premium
  • Located on Georgetown Road just north of Gate 9A
  • RV Parking

LOT 7 (NORTH 40)
  • Located inside the facility through Gate 10 off of 30th Street
  • Limited Free Daily Parking, no overnight parking or camping is permitted
West Lots
