  • Accessible Seating, Parking and Facilities for Individuals with Disabilities?
  • The Indianapolis Motor Speedway provides accessible seating, parking and facilities for individuals with disabilities. Tickets are available for wheelchair-accessible and companion seating in multiple locations around the racetrack for purchase via the IMS ticket office. Accessible seating areas have the closest spectator parking and adjacent accessible facilities (restrooms, retail shops, concession stands, etc.). Please contact the IMS Ticket Office at 317-492-6700 or 1-800-822-INDY (4639) between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday for further details and ordering information.

  • Who needs to purchase a ticket?
  • Friday, October 2 - Sunday, October 4: Everyone ages 16 and older. Kids ages 15 and under receive free admission with a paid adult General Admission ticket holder.

  • Does everyone need a Paddock Plus Pass to enter the Paddock Area?
  • Yes, all guests need a Paddock Plus Pass regardless of age. Paddock Plus Pass upgrades are not valid for gate admission.

    Optional add-on for Saturday, October 3 General Admission ticketholders. On Saturday, October 3 fans must first hold a General Admission ticket before purchasing a Paddock Plus Pass. 

    Optional add-on for Sunday, October 4 General Admission ticketholders. On Sunday, October 4 fans must first hold a General Admission ticket before purchasing a Paddock Plus Pass.  

    The Paddock Plus Pass is not valid for gate admission.

  • What does the Paddock Plus Pass upgrade allow access to?
  • The Paddock Plus Pass upgrade allows access to the trackside area as well as the Pit Viewing Mound.
  • What is the age requirement for Paddock Plus Pass access?
  • There is no age requirement for Paddock Plus Pass access. Paddock Plus Pass upgrades are required for Paddock Plus Pass access but are not valid for gate admission on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4.
  • What is the schedule of events for October 2-4?

  • Are coolers allowed?
  • Coolers are allowed in the General Admission seating areas and parking locations.
  • What are the gate regulations for the Indianapolis 8 Hour?
  • Special gate regulations that are in place for Indianapolis 8 Hour event include: limited to a sealed one liter bottle of unfrozen water, an empty reusable water bottle and a clear one gallon bag containing food items. Camelbacks are not allowed.

  • Where is parking located?
  • Daily auto parking is available in Lot 2 and can be purchased on IMS.com or the IMS Ticket Office. Parking is also available on site for $10 per day. Access Lot 2 via Auburn St.; parking is just west of the IMS oval.

  • Where is ADA parking located?
  • ADA Parking is available in Lot 2 just west of the IMS oval and is accessible via Auburn St.  
  • How do I access my Digital or Print-At-Home tickets?
  • Your Digital or Print-At-Home ticket will be delivered via email early September to the email address provided at time of purchase. Login to your IMS account, in the ORDERS area select “View and Print My Tickets” and Select Your Event to view and/or print your tickets.
  • When will tickets be mailed out?
  • All Indianapolis 8 Hour tickets will be digital or print-at-home tickets.
  • What products cannot be printed at home?
  • All parking passes, camping passes and hospitality products cannot be printed at home.
