Below you will find all the information you need for planning your trip to and from the Flag Lot at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Know Before You Go

Parking lot Opens at: 7:30 AM

To ensure smooth entry, all fans should arrive at the gate closest to their seating location before 10 a.m.

Know Before You Go Home

As you prepare to leave Indianapolis Motor Speedway, please be patient and note the following:

• To keep everyone safe, vehicles will not be released from IMS parking lots until pedestrian traffic allows for clear roadways. This can take up to an hour following the end of the Race.
• Please follow the directions provided as they are designed to get you out and away from the Speedway as quickly and efficiently as possible. Road closures and restrictions are in place to help more traffic to the nearest interstate.

Waze/Google Maps

The IMS Team has worked with Google Maps, Waze and other navigation systems to adapt to these directions on Race Day to make this process even easier! Waze provides up to date traffic information, including any day specific road closures or re-routing. To ensure you're arriving at the facility in the best manner possible, including the correct lot entry gate, please view the directions to your lot on Waze or Google Maps.

Lot Information

Flag Lot is conveniently located in the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and accessed through Gate 2 from 16th Street.
