General Information Regarding The Rolling Stones Concert at IMS
  • Once inside the IMS gates guests will not be allowed to exit and re-enter. There are no pass outs for this event.
  • The concert will be held rain or shine on July 4th. In the event of lightning, the IMS staff will assess the situation and how best to handle it dependent upon the current and forecasted weather conditions
  • If the show is postponed on July 4th, tickets will be redeemable for admission on the date for which the concert is rescheduled.
  • Coolers, chairs and umbrellas will not be permitted inside the gates.
  • The overall feel of the evening will be much like a music festival. Guests can bring blankets and cushions to enhance their comfort.
  • One (1) factory sealed water bottle up to 1 gallon is allowed inside the gates.
  • Average sized backpacks will be permitted through the gates. All bags must be smaller than 18” x 14” x 14” in size. Bags will be checked for both size and contents at each pedestrian gate. It is recommended that guests arrive early and allow proper time for inspection.
  • Shuttles will be provided between the concert area and VIP Turn 2 Suites.
The following items are permitted inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway facility:
  • Binoculars and cameras (without detachable lenses)
  • Strollers
  • Blankets (Queen size or smaller)
  • Bicycles
  • Mobility aids used by guests with disabilities are allowed. Guests are responsible for securing unattended wheelchairs and scooters. IMS reserves the right to restrict any device based on size or other consideration.
The following items are NOT permitted inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway:
  • Weapons, including firearms and ammunition, of any kind
  • Fireworks and flares
  • Camera stands (tripods, monopods, "selfie sticks," etc.) are allowed in the facility as long as they do not cause a safety hazard nor obstruct the view of others
  • Food and beverages
  • Unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as a drones and also referred to as remotely piloted aircrafts and similar remote controlled devices
  • Chairs of any kind
  • Umbrellas
  • Cameras with a detachable lense
  • Animals (except service animals assisting guests who are disabled)
  • Roller blades, skateboards, skates and scooters
  • Golf Carts
  • Carts and wagons
  • Coolers
  • Glass containers
  • Scaffolds or platforms
  • Illegal drugs
  • Tablets
  • Any other item not mentioned that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of the event by other guests.

*Please note, IMS Guest Services personnel reserves the right to deny entry of any items deemed inappropriate for any reason, per its sole and absolute discretion.
