Golf Cart Registration

To receive a golf cart permit at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, an application must be submitted and approved. If you have already submitted a 2025 golf cart application, please do not complete a new application. Golf carts are allowed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway only to those in the following categories:

All approval decisions made by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are final. No exceptions. All registrants must be at least 18 years of age, must execute the required golf cart release, and must submit a compliant certificate of insurance. Failure to execute a golf cart release or submit a compliant certificate of insurance will result in the non-issuance of a golf cart permit. Unregistered golf carts found on IMS property are subject to impounding and towing and will not be released until the owner receives a valid golf cart permit or the golf cart is removed from the property.

ALL RENTAL CARTS, PRIVATELY OWNED CARTS, MOTORIZED SCOOTERS, PIT BIKES AND TUGGERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE INCLUDED ON THIS APPLICATION

By submitting this Registration Form:

You acknowledge and agree that you have the authority to submit this Registration Form as a “Registrant” or as the authorized representative of “Registrant”. Registrant agrees to electronic execution of all documents, including this Registration Form and the Golf Cart Release, and agrees that electronic acceptance and/or typed signature shall be legally binding. Registrant will comply with all IMS Rules, Policies, and Regulations.

Registrant further acknowledges, understands, and agrees to the terms and conditions of the Consent, Assumption of Risk, Indemnification, and Liability Release Agreement for Use of Golf Carts & Scooters (“Golf Cart Release”), which must be executed and submitted to IMS as part of the registration process. A certificate of insurance (“COI”) that complies with the terms of the Golf Cart Release must also be submitted as part of the registration process. The COI must show Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC as the certificate holder and that the IMS Group are named as additional insureds on the required insurance coverage and that the coverage is primary and non-contributory to any other coverage available to IMS Group and includes a waiver of subrogation.

“IMS Group” means Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC, all relevant race sanctioning bodies and event organizers, and all of the successors, assigns, officers, directors, members, managers, shareholders, owners, agents, employees, representatives, and affiliates (including parent, subsidiary, and other affiliate companies) of each of them.

These requirements shall be in addition to any other contractual requirements on the same or similar subject matter between IMS and Registrant and shall not in any way limit Registrant’s existing obligations under its agreements with IMS.
