Annual Fan Party Celebrates 10 Years as New Ad Featuring Terry Crews Debuts; Additional Activities Planned at Riley Hospital for Children
The countdown to the 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge unites fans, drivers and the community Friday, Feb. 13 with a full day of celebration leading up to the 100 Days Out Fan Party at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
“Over the past decade, 100 Days to the Indianapolis 500 has become a marquee moment in the countdown to Race Day,” INDYCAR and IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “Coming together with fans and the community to celebrate our shared love for the Indianapolis 500 is the perfect way to kick off the countdown.”
To start the day, Penske Entertainment employees and NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers will participate in a Valentine’s Day Party at the Child Life Zone at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Kids and families have been invited to visit and make Valentine’s Day cards.
The 2026 Indy 500 marketing campaign video debuts at 11 a.m. ET Friday. Created by Vitae Sessions, the 30-second spot, voiced by Terry Crews, promotes the “United We Race” campaign for this year’s race as fans celebrate America’s 250.
Crews is an American actor, television host and former professional football player. Crews walked the red carpet and attended the 2025 Indianapolis 500 as a guest of Gainbridge. Following this experience, he was eager to help unite both new and old fans by lending his voice to the campaign video, which uniquely captures the spirit and essence of May at the Racing Capital of the World.
The spot will be posted on IMS social channels, the IMS YouTube channel and IMS.com, so fans can watch and share. Meanwhile, it will be seen on local broadcast affiliates and cable television throughout Central Indiana in the near future.
Fans also will celebrate the milestone of 100 days until “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” during a fan party, scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m., exactly 100 days from Sunday, May 24, Race Day for the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
The party, which started in 2016 as part of the countdown to the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. This free annual fan celebration, which has reached full capacity with no admission available at the door, will feature NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver appearances and autograph sessions, photo opportunities and more. Scheduled to attend are 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner and Andretti Global driver Marcus Ericsson, Sting Ray Robb of Juncos Hollinger Racing, Louis Foster of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Caio Collet of A.J. Foyt Racing.
During the party, fans will help to pack military hygiene kits. The 500 kits packed during the party will be delivered to disabled veterans throughout Central Indiana.
Tickets are on sale at IMS.com for the 110th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, Sonsio Grand Prix and all Month of May activities.
