Rainy Weekend Leads to 650 Miles of Racing Monday at IMS

Mother Nature had the final say in racing Saturday and Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Fans will get an extra boost of racing at the Brickyard with 650 miles over two races in one day, with the Lilly Diabetes 250 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Drivers will have zero practice time leading into the races, which should lead to unpredictable, exciting action. See below for the full breakdown of Monday, Sept. 10.

8 a.m. Exterior Parking Lots Open

Exterior parking lots open at 8 a.m., and parking is available in many lots around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. If you purchased parking for Sunday, Sept. 9, it will be honored for Monday. Please bring your ticket or parking tag for admission to your lot. If you didn’t purchase parking, please plan to pay in cash at the lot.

9 a.m. Gates Open

Gates will open to the public at 9 a.m. and tickets for both races will be honored. If you didn’t purchase tickets previously, they’re still available through and IMS Ticket Office.
