Tickets are on sale now for all summer and fall events in 2018 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard, Red Bull Air Race World Championship, Indy Women in Tech Championship and Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational weekends complete a world-class schedule along with the exciting Month of May lineup, which went on sale last month.
Fans can buy tickets at IMS.com and the IMS Ticket Office.
No other sports facility offers such a variety of world-class competition, with open-wheel racing (Verizon IndyCar Series and Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires), stock car racing (Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series), aerobatic air racing (Red Bull Air Race World Championship), vintage racing (Sportscar Vintage Racing Association) and professional golf (Ladies Professional Golf Association) all set for 2018 at IMS:
May 12: INDYCAR Grand Prix (Verizon IndyCar Series)
May 25: Freedom 100 (Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires)
May 27: 102nd Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil (Verizon IndyCar Series)

Sept. 8: Lilly Diabetes 250 (NASCAR XFINITY Series)

Oct. 6-7: Red Bull Air Race World Championship
“The incredible diversity of events at IMS takes center stage in 2018, bringing excitement and star power to the Speedway,” IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “A new date in September as the Cup Series regular-season finale and the continued partnership with the Big Machine Label Group are true enhancements for our NASCAR weekend, and the Red Bull Air Race, vintage racing and LPGA event weekends also provide fun and great competition for all of our loyal fans.
“The Indianapolis Motor Speedway continues to be a vibrant, special place for everyone, with a full roster of events spanning more than half the year.”
As the highlight of the summer schedule, NASCAR racing at IMS will enter a thrilling new era with a move to a cooler early September date for the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard, after 24 years in the mid-summer heat. The race is the final event of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular season, as a regular-season champion will be crowned and the field for the NASCAR Playoff will be set at IMS for the first time.
The event weekend also marks a new era of the strong partnership between IMS and Big Machine Label Group, as the company’s new premium vodka has become the title sponsor of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard – one of the marquee races in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
Big Machine Platinum Filtered Premium Vodka is a premium-quality vodka at an attractive price. The lifestyle surrounding this 25X Distilled, 3X Platinum Filtered spirit, known as “The Best Tasting Vodka, Period!” will be shared during the event weekend with VIP concert and racing experiences, and other sweepstakes packages and promotions.
The Red Bull Air Race World Championship once again will make October a month to remember at the Racing Capital of the World. The best pilots in the world will bring their fierce style of competition to IMS while Red Bull’s global roster of extreme sports athletes will provide thrills and excitement in the Fan Midway. There was incredible drama at this race in 2017, as Japanese pilot Yoshihide Muroya produced a track-record run on his final attempt to win the race and the World Championship.
As always, racing action will start in 2018 at IMS with the traditional Month of May, including the INDYCAR Grand Prix and 102nd Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil. Those races will feature the IMS road-course and oval debut of the sleek new aero kits for Verizon IndyCar Series cars, with Will Power and Takuma Sato attempting to repeat as winners.
New service fees for all IMS event tickets take effect starting Jan. 1 and ticket prices will increase in 2018, so now is the time to get the best seats at the lowest prices for all 2018 events. Event tickets also are an ideal holiday gift.
Kids 15 and under will continue to be admitted free to all 2018 racing events at IMS when accompanied by an adult General Admission ticket-holder.
