The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is embracing the spirit of the Month of May and the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge by celebrating #500atHome with virtual and socially distanced activities planned all week long.

This all leads up an enhanced encore presentation of the 2019 Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 24 at 2 p.m. (ET) on NBC – Indy 500 Special: Back Home Again, and we want you to join in on the fun!

Leading up to Sunday, May 24, IMS will tap into the most exciting race week of the year and encourage you to virtually celebrate days such as Miller Lite Carb Day, Legends Day presented by Firestone and Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge Race Day from the comfort of your home with downloadable activities, exciting interactive opportunities, historical content and much more that will help to create the ultimate #500atHome experience!

You can join in on the fun starting Wednesday, May 20 on Virtual Community Day with kid-friendly educational tools, activities and more from IMS and several community partners.

And don't miss Sounds of the Indianapolis 500 on Monument Circle brought to you by Downtown Indy, Inc. this weekend! Everyday after the noon playing of the National Anthem, Downtown Indy, Inc. will play Jim Cornelison's beautiful rendition of our beloved song, "Back Home Again in Indiana." Plus, every night this weekend after each evening’s playing of Signature Salute, which includes Taps, "Back Home Again in Indiana" will play on Monument Circle as racing and Indy 500 graphics are projected onto the IPL Building and Circle Tower. This exciting show will happen three times each night.

Be sure to check out each day's schedule to see what activities you can do from home to participate in #500atHome!
