Operations & Guest Experience

Roles focused on facility operations like gates, traffic/parking and ticket selling fall under this area. These positions are crucial to each event’s success and allow the 988 acre venue to operate high-caliber. This team also serves in event roles that focus on guest interaction. Whether these guests are die-hard race fans, families, or VIP visitors—the hospitality group will serve and impact the event experience of thousands.

Hospitality & Premium Services

Candidates hired on this team will serve as an extension of the Premium and VIP Services teams and will be stationed in various premium spaces around the facility to help provide guests with an extraordinary experience. Employees will assist with maintaining premium spaces, while also building relationships with guests. Main responsibilities will include checking for proper tickets and credentials, directing guests to various areas of the facility, answering questions, and enhancing overall experience.

Ticketing & Credentials

Our Ticketing team provides a positive first impression of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway by offering superior, individualized guest service. Those placed in this group will operate our in-house ticketing software and work in remote ticket trailers throughout the facility, helping customers purchase tickets, pickup ticket orders, or solve ticket related issues.

The Credentials Department is responsible for administering credentials to all internal and external groups participating and/or working our events, such as the INDYCAR Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and Brickyard 400, along with several other smaller events throughout the year. Those placed on the Credential Team are responsible for helping execute credential distribution in both our main office and trackside office during events.

Marketing & Branding

Those placed on the marketing and branding team will represent IMS in the community and travel to different activations promoting IMS, our events and our programs. This is a small, select group of individuals but an important team that promotes the Racing Capital of the World and all we have going on.
