Porsche Drives into IMS Spotlight during Sportscar Together Fest Sept. 10-12

The power, precision and prestige of Porsche will be on full display through a variety of competition and fan-friendly activities during the inaugural Porsche Sportscar Together Fest on Sept. 10-12 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This spectacular, three-day festival combines a celebration of car culture and of Porsche sports cars in all of their forms spanning seven decades. It also includes a packed schedule of motorsports action supported by themed, interactive displays of Porsche cars from the past, present and a little way into the future, with the very latest new models making their public debut.

Racing action is at the core of the festival. Underlining the core principle that motorsport benefits the breed, the festival will uniquely host three major Porsche one-make race series at the Racing Capital of the World – Porsche Carrera Cup, Porsche Sprint Challenge and Porsche Club Racing.

Sportscar Together Festival is the first and only event thus far that brings these different series together in one place.

The three series represent the Porsche motorsports “pyramid” – from the cost-effective entry point into club motorsport through the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama up to the purpose-built racers in the form of the Carrera Cup North America.

Porsche Club of America will be a high-profile participant at the festival with the Club Racing Program taking center stage, as well as themed car displays and concours events.

Action won’t just be limited to race cars, with the chance for attendees to get involved through an autocross experience in the new 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 and a special off-road driving activity set aside to test the limits of the Cayenne.

Fans also can explore the Zentrum building, which hosts a number of Porsche areas, including the Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge, the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, Tequipment, Exclusiv and the Porsche Design merchandise store.

The Fan Zone hosts experiences for guests of all ages. Fans can check out the latest lineup of Porsche cars on display, listen to live music, play yard games or show off their karaoke skills in a custom designed Macan sound stage! Even the youngest Porsche fans will have a great time inside a dedicated kids’ zone where they can create and color championship flags or race around a custom-designed Lego track.

Fans are encouraged to share their Sportscar Together Festival experiences on social media with the hashtag #SportscarTogether.
