NASCAR Stars Larson, Bell Join Driven2SaveLives BC39 Field at The Dirt Track at IMS

Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell are the latest NASCAR stars to join the stacked field of 54 cars – and climbing – for the inaugural Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by NOS Energy Drink dirt track race on Sept. 5-6 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race winner Larson and NASCAR Xfinity Series leader Bell will return to their United States Auto Club (USAC) roots at The Dirt Track at IMS, a new quarter-mile clay oval located inside Turn 3 of the famed asphalt oval. Larson and Bell are leading a nine-car entry from the Keith Kunz Motorsports/Curb-Agajanian team, for which they both drove during their full-time USAC careers. Bell won the 2013 USAC P1 Insurance Midget National Championship for Kunz.

The two-night event honors late USAC champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 starter Bryan Clauson and increases awareness of the Indiana Donor Network and its Driven2SaveLives campaign. The 39-lap feature event will be the richest in Midget racing, with more than $70,000 in purse and incentives, including a $15,000 winner’s purse.

Tickets for the Driven2SaveLives BC39 presented by NOS Energy Drink are available now at IMS.com.

Joining Larson and Bell on the Kunz team are 2017 USAC National Midget champ Spencer Bayston, current National Midget point leader Logan Seavey and series regulars Tucker Klaasmeyer, Holly Shelton, Ryan Robinson, Tanner Carrick and Sam Johnson.

NASCAR standout Ricky Stenhouse Jr., another former full-time USAC competitor, is part of the four-car team previously entered for the BC39 by Clauson Marshall Racing. Chase Briscoe, who won the Eldora Dirt Derby NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race this year, is driving for Briscoe Racing.

Also entered are USAC Triple Crown champions Tracy Hines and Jerry Coons Jr., two-time USAC National Sprint Car champion Brady Bacon, series front-runner Tyler Thomas and 2012 USAC Western States Midget champ David Prickett.

The BC39 starts five consecutive days of racing at IMS, leading into the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line weekend Sept. 7-9 on the 2.5-mile IMS oval. Larson and Stenhouse also will race in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event Sunday, Sept. 9, while Bell also will compete in the Lilly Diabetes 250 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series on Saturday, Sept. 8.
