Community Celebration

As NASCAR roars into Indianapolis, celebrate with the entire family on Main Street in Downtown Speedway at the NASCAR Hauler Parade. This free night of fun for the entire family offers family-friendly games, face painting, live music and more. This year’s Hauler Parade will be Friday, July 3.

It is a true honor to host our country’s heroes at the Racing Capital of the World during the NASCAR July Fourth Weekend. With the help from incredible partners like Gainbridge, Global Medical Response and more, we proudly invite thousands of active-duty military members, veterans and first responders through the gates at IMS. We work with Wish For Our Heroes to distribute tickets to military personnel and All Clear Foundation to distribute tickets to first responders.

Each year during the NASCAR weekend, IMS and USAC host the Driven2SaveLives BC39 Powered by NOS Energy Drink at The Dirt Track at IMS. This dirt midget race promotes the Indiana Donor Network’s Driven 2 Save Lives campaign, which fights to end the wait for organ transplants. The campaign was inspired by former race car driver Bryan Clauson, who died in a racing accident in 2016. As a registered donor, Bryan saved five lives through organ donation and healed up to 75 lives through tissue donation. Learn more about Driven 2 Save Lives and donate here.

When race fans come to Indianapolis for a race, not only do they see it, but they c¬an feel it. Signage and décor from the JW Marriott, Pan-Am Plaza, Downtown Indianapolis streets and the Indianapolis International Airport creates an exciting atmosphere like no other. Downtown Décor Invasion is a collaboration with the city of Indianapolis, Downtown Indy, Inc. and the Indianapolis International Airport Authority. Be sure to share your photo with your favorite driver’s street sign or your favorite Brickyard sign on social media!

Also, we make sure Hoosier hospitality is turbocharged on July Fourth Weekend! In collaboration with our friends at Visit Indy, hotels will be ready to help race fans from out of town. When staying in the Indy area, ask your concierge for Brickyard information, or check out one of our information tables with schedules, maps, great local restaurants and more!
