Get revved up during Downtown Indy's Motorcycles on Meridian presented by Indianapolis Motor Speedway Aug. 7 and 8. Motorcyclists are invited to park on Monument Circle, south on Meridian Street and Georgia Street in celebration of the Red Bull Indianapolis GP race, which takes place Sunday, Aug. 9 at IMS.
Spectators – no bikes needed – are also invited to come Downtown and check out the motorcycles on display. Visit vendors on site including Southside Harley and Elite Auto Image. Walk around and enjoy the flurry of engine roars and fun atmosphere.
Join the motorcycle mania and watch the ICON Limiter Live Motorcycle Stunt Show in the lot at 125 S. Meridian St. Aug. 7 and 8, from 7:30 – 10 p.m. Rob Carpenter, on his Harley Davidson Sportster, will compete against Kyle Sliger, on his steel-framed Kawasaki. The crowd will choose the victor at this full-on competition.
Additionally, a beer garden will be available on Georgia Street, outside Tilted Kilt. Red Bull will also be sampling throughout the event.

TRAFFIC: The following streets will be closed to traffic:
From 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, until 3 a.m. the following morning and again from 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, until 3 a.m. the following morning:
- Meridian Street between South and Vermont streets
- All quadrants and spokes of Monument Circle
- Jackson Place between McCrea and Meridian streets
- Chesapeake Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania streets
- Georgia Street south lane between :
- Meridian Street and Sciota Street: west half of east block
- Meridian Street and McCrae Street: east half of center block
- West block will remain open to traffic.
