ADA Services

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office is located in the Main Administration Building at 4790 W. 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222, just east of the roundabout at Crawfordsville Road and 16th Street. Arrangements can be made through the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office to accommodate guests who require accessible seating and parking. Accessible seats and spaces for wheelchairs and companion seats are available.

ADA Services

Access to the following disabled assistance services at IMS are available to any guest that identifies that they are disabled. The guest and a companion may step in line, in the order that they have arrived, for accessing that service. No further proof of a guest’s disability or a pass may be requested.

Assistance Golf Carts

  • Golf carts are utilized during major event days at IMS to assist disabled guests, free of charge, to certain destinations throughout the property.
  • Golf carts with wheelchair ramps are available.
  • Guests must be inside IMS gates to access shuttles. Golf carts may only stay within IMS gates and cannot go to and from IMS Exterior parking lots.
  • On Carb Day and Indianapolis 500 Race Day, assistance shuttles pick up and drop off at 14 designated locations around IMS property. Due to the high demand, pick ups can only occur at these designated locations.
  • On Indianapolis 500 Race Day, assistance golf carts will be unable to pick up near Gates 1, 5, 6 and 7 from 9:30 a.m. through Green Flag (12:30 p.m.), and for at least 60 minutes immediately following the checkered flag.

Reminders

Our staff will be on hand to check ADA placards upon arrival. Arrive early to ensure you get a ADA parking spot on those days parking is first come, first serve.

Service animals performing an active function are allowed on IMS grounds. Service animals can go wherever their handler is credentialed to go, except for the pits. Service animals are never allowed in the pits.

Parking

Free accessible parking is available in the North 40 (Lot 7) during the Month of May (excluding Indy 500 Race Day)

All parking is paid parking on Race Day. Paid accessible parking is SOLD OUT for Indy 500 Race Day. Paid ADA parking is still available on a first-come, first-served basis for other days in May in the following locations:

  • Northwest Gravel Lot
  • Lot 2
  • Gate 1 Lot
  • Lot 3P
  • West Museum Lot
  • Flag Lot
  • Tower Suites Lot
  • Brickyard Crossing Lot

Law enforcement will be on hand to check ADA placards upon arrival.
