"IndyStar and Indianapolis Motor Speedway have enjoyed a great partnership for decades,” said David Hakanson, IndyStar’s vice president of sales. "Each year we partner with IMS on a new wrinkle to build excitement around ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing’– and we are excited about this new contest, where some someone could win $500,000.”
“This contest with our friends at the IndyStar adds some extra fun and opportunity to an activity every race fan enjoys,” IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “While it’s not an easy task picking the Indy 500 finishing order, I know it’s a challenge people are going to embrace once the starting grid is set.
