About The Race:
The rain-interrupted 1967 race, which took two days to run, resulted in a last-minute win for A. J. Foyt, who tied with Louis Meyer, Wilbur Shaw and Mauri Rose as the only three-time winners of the "500" at that time.
The two-time INDYCAR SERIES champion and 2018 Indianapolis 500 winner will join fellow Australians Kenny Habul and Chaz Mostert in the 75 Express Mercedes-AMG in the Intercontinental GT Challenge event for GT3 sports cars on Oct. 16-18.
The seven-time MotoGP World Champion won the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP on two wheels in 2008 at IMS.
