Media Credentials

Thank you for your interest in media coverage opportunities at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Credential applications are routed though the IMS credential email inbox.

Media credentials are event specific, and requirements may vary for each event. A media advisory outlining the process and requirements will be published when the credential process is open for each event, usually 4-6 weeks before the event date. Prior receipt of media credentials does not guarantee future approval. IMS reserves the right of final approval for all media credential applications.

Media credentials are for working media only, for the primary purpose of gathering news for the timely coverage of the event. Freelance media (photographers, journalists, etc.) must be on a specific assignment from a recognized media organization. You must be at least 18 years of age to be granted a media credential.
