Accessible Seating, Parking and Facilities for Individuals with Disabilities?

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway provides accessible seating, parking and facilities for individuals with disabilities. Tickets are available for wheelchair-accessible and companion seating in multiple locations around the racetrack for purchase via the IMS ticket office. Accessible seating areas have the closest spectator parking and adjacent accessible facilities (restrooms, retail shops, concession stands, etc.). Please contact the IMS Ticket Office at 317-492-6700 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday for further details and ordering information.

Who needs to purchase a ticket? and What types of tickets are available for purchase?

Any person, regardless of age, must have a seat ticket for admittance to reserved seating areas on Race Day.

General Admission – Children ages 15 and under are admitted free with paid adult General Admission ticketholder.

  • Friday, Oct. 7 - General Admission - $25  
  • Saturday, Oct. 8 - General Admission - $40
  • Sunday, Oct. 9 - General Admission - $30

Single-day admission tickets may be purchased at Gate 1 and Gate 9 at ticket remotes on event days.

What is the schedule of events for October 7-9?

Are coolers allowed?

Coolers are allowed in the General Admission seating areas and parking locations.

What are the gate regulations for the Indianapolis 8 Hour?

Special gate regulations that are in place for Indianapolis 8 Hour event include: limited to a sealed one liter bottle of unfrozen water, an empty reusable water bottle and a clear one gallon bag containing food items. Camelbacks are not allowed.

Where is parking located?

Daily auto parking is available in Lot 2 and can be purchased on or the IMS Ticket Office. Parking is also available on site for $20 per day. Access Lot 2 via Auburn St.; parking is just west of the IMS oval.

Where is ADA parking located?

ADA Parking is available in Lot 2 just west of the IMS oval and is accessible via Auburn St.

When will tickets be mailed out?

All tickets and parking are digital and will be delivered closer to the event weekend to the email address used at the time of purchase.

What products cannot be printed at home?

All parking passes, camping passes and hospitality products cannot be printed at home.
