To celebrate the 25th Running of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has partnered with organizations around the community to rev up the excitement around the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line! .

Thanks to the support from City of Indianapolis, Downtown Indy, Harrison Center for the Arts, IMS Museum, Indianapolis Airport Authority, Indiana Historical Society, Indy Film Fest, IndyHub, Speedway Chamber of Commerce and Visit Indy.

Brickyard Pit Stop Paddle

In partnership with Downtown Indy, teams of eight will race the Canal in our inaugural Brickyard Pit Stop Paddle! Grab your most competitive friends, family or coworkers and join us from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23. Don’t want to race but still want to party? Music, food and beverages will be available for purchase on the canal level of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center in the Hoaglin Café!


 
 
Sunset Cinema on the Canal

Downtown Indy and Indy Film Fest have teamed up to offer a FREE showing of "Talladega Nights" on the Canal! Movie-goers should grab their blankets/chairs and picnic essentials and head down to the north end of the Canal, near the Admiral Spruance Basin (11th Street). Food and beverage will be available for purchase near Canal 337 by Thomas Caterers from 7:30-9 p.m. The movie will start at dusk (around 9 p.m.). It’s Cooler at the Brickyard

It’s not uncommon to see festive, souped-up coolers around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway throughout the year. We want to see just how creative you can get! Fans are encouraged to decorate their coolers in celebration of the 25th Running of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard. During the race, use hashtag #CoolerAtTheBrickyard for a chance to win a prize pack from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Downtown Décor

Downtown Décor Invasion is a collaboration with the City of Indianapolis, Downtown Indy and Indianapolis Airport Authority to bring the spirit of racing to the month of September! Walking through the streets of downtown Indianapolis, you’ll find all of our celebrated winners. Walk along Champions Row, or Meridian Street, and find all of our celebrate winners! Traveling in or out of the city? Make sure you snag a photo in IND’s Civic Plaza and check out all the décor at more than 30 hotels in Indianapolis.

Hauler Parade

One of our favorite traditions happens Friday before the race with the annual Hauler Parade! Join us Friday, September 7 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 as we welcome the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series haulers to Main Street in Speedway! Haulers arrive at 6 p.m., but make sure to check back for a full schedule of activities! You’ll have a chance to meet some your favorite drivers, including past Brickyard winners, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch and Jamie McMurray as well as Kurt Busch, Corey LaJoie and Ross Chastain. Bring the whole family for a night of food, drinks, music and NASCAR!
