“Speedway Speedy Pass” tickets are on sale today for the new highlight of the holidays, “Lights at the Brickyard” at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This seasonal event, running from Nov. 18-20, Nov. 23-27 and Dec. 1-31, features more than 2 million lights spanning more than 400 displays across 40 scenes, spread along a 1.7-mile driving experience. The drive incorporates portions of the IMS road course and oval, and crosses the famous “Yard of Bricks.” Hours for the event are 6-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 6-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday. “Lights at the Brickyard is going to be another unforgettable event at IMS, mixing holiday cheer with our iconic facility,” said Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles. “We’re always busy from May through October here, but now we’re thrilled to have this opportunity to engage with the community in the wintertime.” Speedway Speedy Pass tickets are available now at IMS.com for this holiday extravaganza. This ticket allows guests to skip the main line into the facility and gain faster access. The Speedway Speedy Pass entrance is via Gate 12 adjacent to the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course. Only one ticket is needed per car. The cost is $40 for vehicles with up to 14 passengers and $100 for vehicles with 15 or more passengers. Each ticket is good for one trip through the exhibit. Prices will increase on Nov. 18 when the event opens, so guests are encouraged to purchase now. Regular drive-up admission tickets will go on sale Nov. 18 at a price of $20, and will increase to $30 from Dec. 1-31 for vehicles with up to 14 passengers, and $50 for vehicles with 15 or more passengers. Regular admission is at Gate 2 on the south end of the facility off 16th Street. Guests may print all tickets at home for redemption at the gate or may have them scanned via smartphones.
