Crown Royal, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and country music stars, The Band Perry, revealed the five finalists in the Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard program, which will award naming rights to the Brickyard NASCAR race to a deserving American hero. In addition, Big Machine Records confirmed it will be a presenting sponsor of the race for the second year in a row and will produce a country music concert on raceday morning, Sunday, July 29 at IMS.
The official name of the event is the Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Big Machine Records.
The five finalists in the Crown Royal “Your Hero’s Name Here” program, include a Purple Heart recipient from Indiana, a firefighter from Alabama, a nurse from Texas, an Iraq War Metal recipient from Florida, and a veteran from North Carolina who founded a company that builds and alters homes to meet the needs of veterans returning home. In addition to receiving naming rights, the winner will wave the green flag and deliver the trophy in Victory Lane at the Brickyard!
