Tailgating is permitted in the daily parking areas of the following lots:

Grilling is allowed on small portable grills. No dumping of charcoal or ashes is allowed.
Portable shelters (i.e. EZ Up shelters) no larger than 10 feet by 10 feet are allowed in designated tailgating areas. They must be set up behind the vehicle, not taking another parking spot or hindering vehicle or pedestrian travel areas. Shelters must be secured to the vehicle.
All shelters must be put away by the race starting time on Race Day in Lots 1B, 1C, 2, & 3 Grass.

Guests with motorcycles during oval events are permitted to enter Gate 2 and proceed directly to the motorcycle lot located behind the South Terrace. Mopeds and scooters are not permitted on the Speedway premises without IMS permission. Mopeds or scooters used to transport guests to and from the premises shall be treated the same as motorcycles.
- At all times, vehicles on IMS property shall be operated in a safe, courteous manner, based on current conditions, at speeds not to exceed 20 mph.
- IMS is not responsible for damage or personal injury caused by or to vehicles that are not owned or operated by IMS or its authorized representatives.
- All motorcycles used in any of the outside paid parking lots must have an automobile pass for the duration of their stay.
South Infield:

Red Bull Indianapolis GP Motorcycle Parking
A limited number of motorcycles will be parked along the backstretch of the famed 2.5 mile oval each day of Red Bull Indianapolis GP weekend. To access backstretch motorcycle parking please enter Gate 10 via 30th St. IMS personnell will assist you once inside the facility.
Outside Paid Parking Lots
- Located outside of the facility these paid lots serve as a great alternative to infield parking.
- Outside lots offer pre-sold as well as ride-up availability.
Helmet and Leather Checks are available at each motorcycle parking location Red Bull Indianapolis GP weekend. This free service is like a traditional "coat check" but for helmets, leathers, and other riding gear you might be carrying.

Daily Disabled Parking will be available in the following lots:
- Lot 1B
- Lot 2
- Lot 3 Pavement (although daily parking is not permitted on the pavement otherwise; any Lot 3 Grass auto pass accompanied with a state-issued disabled tag will be granted a disabled space in the front of the lot, assuming the area isn't full.)
Hall of Fame Museum (inside Gate 2): This parking is on the inside of the facility and is on a first-come, first-served basis. No additional parking pass issued by IMS is required for this lot.
In order to create a safe environment for all of our guests on Race Day, all vehicle traffic will be directed out of the lots once foot traffic has sufficiently cleared the main roadways of 16th Street, Georgetown Road, and 30th Street following the race.
All vehicles will be directed to the nearest exit of their parking area.
