Race fans, get ready to relive some of your favorite motorsports moments from the Racing Capital of the World. NBC Sports will highlight the “Best at the Brickyard” with a day dedicated to re-airing some of the most thrilling motorsports moments at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from the past two decades on NBC and NBCSN. On Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, race fans can tune in to NBCSN and watch Simon Pagenaud dominate 2019’s memorable Month of May, including the GMR Grand Prix that Pagenaud won with a thrilling late-race pass on Scott Dixon, and NBC’s first-ever Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge broadcast that featured Pagenaud winning an epic late-race duel over Alexander Rossi. Plus, fans can relive two of the most iconic moments in the history of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard with Tony Stewart’s emotional 2005 Brickyard 400 win in which he finally conquered Indy, and Jeff Gordon’s 2004 Brickyard 400 victory that gave him a record-tying fourth win on the famed 2.5-mile oval. And if that wasn’t enough, NBCSN will air “Drive Like Andretti,” NBC Sports’ captivating documentary on the life of INDYCAR legend Mario Andretti. Later that night, fans can catch a special reliving the milestone 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Racing Week in America Thursday isn’t the only day race fans can get their high-octane fix. Plus, NASCAR fans can catch five-time Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard winner Gordon’s final NASCAR Cup Series win at Martinsville Speedway in 2015. Other races to mark on your calendar include James Hinchcliffe’s 2017 return to Victory Lane at one of INDYCAR’s most iconic venues – Long Beach, the 2015 NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship race at Sonoma when Dixon overcame a points deficit to win the series championship, and the thrilling 2016 INDYCAR race from Texas Motor Speedway.
