The Indy Women in Tech Championship driven by Group One Thousand One announced July 18 that byte @ THE #IWiTCHAMP presented by Indiana Grand Racing & Casino will return Saturday, Aug. 18 and Sunday, Aug. 19 at Brickyard Crossing Golf Course. This food experience will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 and from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sunday during the LPGA event at Brickyard Crossing, located at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. A live band will follow play Saturday, while a brunch-inspired menu will be featured Sunday. “The tournament is extremely excited to bring this food experience back for the fans to enjoy some of the best restaurants, chefs and breweries Central Indiana has to offer,” said Harry Hardy, tournament director. “We want to give all the local foodies, craft beer, wine and cocktail lovers a chance to experience everything the IWiT Championship has to offer, all for an affordable price.” byte @ THE #IWiTCHAMP presented by Indiana Grand Racing & Casino is one of several ancillary events dedicated to furthering the mission of the tournament, which, in addition to hosting the world’s best female golfers in Indianapolis, is to provide exposure and funds for key initiatives focusing on women in tech and youth STEM and robotics programs.
