Fans can join us for a Daytona 500 Viewing Party

INDIANAPOLIS, Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 – Race fans are encouraged to celebrate the start of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season Sunday, Feb. 20 at a Viewing Party hosted by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at Jillian’s Indianapolis.

The party will take place from noon-4 p.m. at Jillian’s, located on 141 S. Meridian St. in downtown Indianapolis. All ages are invited to watch the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway with fellow NASCAR fans on more than 60 high-definition televisions and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere.

Admission is free.

Activities and attractions range from giveaways, including tickets to the Brickyard 400 on July 31 at IMS, to prizes for best-dressed NASCAR fans and much more. Drink and appetizer specials also will be available.

The Brickyard 400, on July 29-31 at IMS, is one of the marquee events of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. Jamie McMurray won the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400 in 2010, one of only three drivers to achieve that feat in the same year.
