The car, which has a retail value of $41,950, features a striking “Inferno Orange Metallic” paint scheme with “White Diamond” rally stripes, a modern interpretation of the original rally stripe that debuted on the 1969 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car.
A modern sports car, the 2010 Chevy Camaro Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Replica is powered by a 400-horsepower, 6.2-litre V8 engine and features the muscular styling that made Camaro a household name beginning in the 1960s.
