SCCA Runoffs Sept. 28 - Oct. 1

SCCA Runoffs

The Sports Car Club of America National Championship Runoffs® has evolved into what is now commonly agreed to be the pinnacle of amateur American motorsports. The Runoffs were named by Car and Driver magazine as one of the Top 10 racing events in the world and Edmunds called the event an “institution.”

This coming September at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, SCCA® celebrates its 54th Runoffs. Several hundred drivers will compete for National Championship medals in 28 different classes. Every year, the event produces close, competitive racing and provides a glimpse at up-and-coming road racing stars. This year will be no different as drivers compete on an Indianapolis Motor Speedway road circuit consisting of 15 turns over a 2.592-mile course running clockwise through the iconic venue’s grounds.

The Sports Car Club of America, Inc., founded in 1944, is a 67,500-member motorsports organization that incorporates all facets of autocross, rally and road racing at both club and professional levels. With headquarters in Topeka, Kansas, the SCCA annually sanctions over 2,000 events through its 115 Regions and professional subsidiary.
