THE FOLLOWING POLICIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED FOR IMS PARKING AND CAMPING AREAS OUTSIDE THE GATES TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE TO ALL GUESTS.

1. Guests must comply with:

a. all federal, state, and local laws (including, but not limited to, the Indiana and Marion County health department laws, rules, and regulations),
b. the IMS Code of Conduct, and
c. all other IMS policies as they exist from time to time including without limitation those provided on on-site signs, IMS’ website, and/or in any other materials.

2. CAMPING AREAS:

a. Between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and the time public gates open, campers must remain in their assigned campsite.
b. ONLY in Lot 1A and Lot 1C on May 23, 24, 25 & 26:
i. WRISTBANDS REQUIRED
1. An RV Pass comes with 6 wristbands; a Tent Pass comes with 4 wristbands. Only the passholder can purchase up to 10 additional wristbands for $15 per wristband through the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ticket Office, www.ims.com or at the Lot 1A or Lot 1C entrance upon initial arrival, between the hours of 6:00am – 6:00pm.
2. The wristband must be worn the entire race weekend. Any person in the lot who does not have a wristband will be considered a trespasser subject to expulsion and prosecution.
c. Guests may be relocated to an alternative location at IMS’s discretion.
d. Daily parking is limited to vehicles that hold no more than 15 passengers and fit in a standard 10x20 parking spot (this includes motorcycles).
e. Camping requires a RV (20x40) or Tent (20x20) Pass.
f. A vehicle that pulls a pull-behind or fifth wheel travel trailer does not require a separate Vehicle Pass, however the vehicle and the pull-behind or fifth wheel trailer must fit in the purchased 20x40 spot.
g. Class A and Class C RVs may purchase Vehicle Passes (standard 10x20 spot) for up to one towed vehicle. Each vehicle(s) must fit in the purchased 10x20 spot, respectively.

3. Each guest is REQUIRED to:

a. Have the appropriate parking/camping pass for the area and for the vehicle (and display of that pass);
b. Travel at no more than 5 mph in the parking/camping lots;
c. Keep fire lanes open;
d. Keep animals on a leash and clean up after them;
e. Respect your fellow campers; and
f. Be responsible for the safety of their belongings.

4. The following is a non-exhaustive list of PROHIBITED items and/or behaviors:

a. weapons of any type, including knives, fire arms, and ammunition.
b. fireworks and flares.
c. DRONES, or unmanned aerial systems.
d. iIlegal drugs and substances, or drug paraphernalia (including without limitation marijuana).
e. trampolines, skateboards, pogo sticks, roller skates, and swimming pools.
f. scaffolds and platforms.
g. box trucks, box trailers, and trailers with golf carts.
h. golf carts, ATVs, scooters, and mini-bikes.
i. excessive noise (as defined by Speedway Municipal Code Section 9.12).
j. selling of merchandise (e.g., tickets, food, alcohol, firewood, ice) or services.
k. sampling or passing out flyers.
l. entering another customer’s parking/camping spot, unless specifically invited.
m. saving spaces (space is assigned on a “first-come, first-served” basis).
n. dumping waste or wastewater.
o. any items not mentioned that may pose a safety hazard or diminish the experience of other guests as determined by IMS.
p. early arrival.

Please note: Any of the above items are subject to change without notice and may vary for each event. Additional restrictions may be imposed in IMS’ sole discretion and each guest must fully comply with all such restrictions.

5. IMS reserves the right to search any vehicle, RV, tent, trailer, or related accessories (collectively, “Vehicles”) and to remove any Vehicle that IMS deems necessary under the circumstances.

6. Campfires are NOT allowed except in appropriate elevated devices such as a fire pit or grill. Do not leave camp fires unattended and properly dispose of ashes or coals. Digging into the ground to create a fire pit is not permitted.

7. WARNING. IMS and its affiliates assume no liability and your release IMS, sanctioning bodies, sponsors, and their respective affiliates and all event participants for loss or damage (including without limitation property damage, injury, illness, and death) by fire, theft, weather, communicable disease, or otherwise to you, your guests, your personal property, your belongings, personal items, or your Vehicle while on IMS property or other properties operated by IMS or its affiliates including if caused by the negligence of released parties. Use of the parking/camping areas is at YOUR OWN RISK and it is your responsibility to insure for all risk of loss as you deem necessary. BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND BE ALERT FOR RISKS AT ALL TIMES.

Any degree of violation of these policies may result in ejection from all IMS properties.
