Vintage Racers Encourage Fan Engagement at IMS
The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) is hosting the three-day event that will feature more than 700 racecars competing on the reconfigured IMS road course, as well as participate in exhibition runs on the famed IMS 2.5-mile oval. The Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational marks the first time that a vintage racing series has ever competed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

St. James, Hamilton, Parsons Compete Once Again at IMS
Lyn St. James, Davey Hamilton and Johnny Parsons participated in a recent test in preparation for the Charity Indy Legends Pro-Am race on Sunday, June 8 on the reconfigured IMS 2.43-mile road course. The race will feature 26 Indianapolis 500 veterans paired with amateur drivers, with each taking a 20-minute stint, with five minutes allotted for a driver change. The cars used in the Pro-Am race will be 1963 to 1972 vintage Chevrolet Corvettes and Camaros, and Ford Mustangs.

'500' Veterans Will Compete in IMS Vintage Race
An impressive list of 26 former Indianapolis 500 drivers that includes 1992 and 1994 winner Al Unser Jr., 1996 winner Buddy Lazier, Scott Goodyear, Dick Simon, Willy T. Ribbs, Lyn St. James and many more will compete during the inaugural Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational, June 6-8, on the recently reconfigured road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

'Indy Legends' Pro-Am Fills Field
The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) today announced that it has exceeded expectations in filling a field of 24 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race veterans for its upcoming “Indy Legends” Pro-Am race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tom Bagley, John Martin and Bob Lazier join 21 previously announced entries in the feature event of the June 6 – 8 “Brickyard Invitational” vintage race weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Bob Lazier joins his sons Buddy and Jaques as the three are united in competition at the Speedway for the first time. Buddy won the 1996 Indianapolis 500.

IMS and Kroger Announce the "Race to End Hunger"

Jones, the winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, could have won the classic several times despite only competing seven years.

IMS To Host 2014 ISC Corporate Challenge
The 2014 Indiana Sports Corp Corporate Challenge presented by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield will move to one of Indiana’s most iconic locations, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
