Sorry fellows, in 1909 the entire world's supply of isolated helium would not have filled one balloon. Nor will there be any helium balloons there 100 years later, unless someone has about $12,000.00 to throw away. Then (and now overseas) gas balloons are mainly filled with abundant, cheap and clean hydrogen.
