The ICVA presented the award to the Hulman-George family for its efforts, since 1945, to make the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and city of Indianapolis an exciting tourist destination for racing enthusiasts from around the world.

"We are extremely proud to present this award to Tony George and the Hulman-George Family," said Bob Bedell, president and CEO of the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association.
