Popular IMS 'Grounds Tour' Expands To 60 Dates In 2006

IMS Grounds Tours start at the Hall of Fame Museum, located just inside the main entrance (Gate 2) of the Speedway.

Thanks to overwhelming popularity and demand, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum has expanded the 2006 Hall of Fame "Grounds Tour" schedule to a record 60 dates.

The Grounds Tour is a fantastic opportunity to entertain family, friends or clients with a behind-the-scenes view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's awe-inspiring infrastructure and history through a 90-minute guided tour.

Notable IMS landmarks that are normally accessible only to officials, drivers and teams during events, such as the timing-and-scoring suite in the Bombardier Pagoda, the Media Center, Victory Podium, Gasoline Alley garage area and the world-famous "Yard of Bricks" are part of the Grounds Tour.

Guests also will tour the Hall of Fame Museum and enjoy a ride around the famed 2.5-mile IMS oval in one of the Museum's comfortable tour buses.
