Popular 'Grounds Tour' Returns To Speedway This Weekend, Tuesday

The public can get an insider's view of the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway June 26, 27 and 29 during the popular "Grounds Tour" offered by the Speedway Hall of Fame Museum.

The 90-minute tours will offer an in-depth view of the Speedway's evolution over the past 94 years.

Participants will receive a guided tour of the 2.5-mile oval and unprecedented access to the Speedway's most important landmarks, including the Gasoline Alley Suites, the four-story Media Center, the Bombardier Pagoda's timing-and-scoring suite, the victory platform and the Gasoline Alley garage area and the start/finish line, where fans can stand on the famous "Yard of Bricks."

Tours are scheduled to depart the Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum at 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3 p.m., local time, on Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27.

Due to popular demand, the Grounds Tour also is taking place Tuesday, June 29. Tours depart the Hall of Fame Museum at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Tickets for the tour also include admission to the museum and are $25 for adults, $10 for youth age 6-15 and free for children age 5 and younger. Tour tickets are available at the Hall of Fame Museum.
