If Danica Dominates Daytona, Fans Win With Indy 500 Ticket Savings
New Indianapolis 500 ticket customers can cash in on Danica Patrick's participation in the ARCA Racing Series season opener Saturday, Feb. 6 at Daytona International Speedway. It's up to Danica how much they'll cash in. From Feb. 6-13, Tower Terrace ticket prices will drop one dollar for every lap Patrick leads at Daytona. The ticket price will be cut at least $19, honoring the number of laps she led as an Indy 500 rookie in 2005. Go Danica!

Bernard Named CEO Of Indy Racing League
Randy Bernard, longtime CEO of Professional Bull Riders, Inc., has been named CEO of the Indy Racing League, the sanctioning body of the IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights. His hiring was announced today by Jeffrey Belskus, president and CEO of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, the home of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and owner of the Indy Racing League. Helmet Signed By Indy 500 Winners Added To Haiti Relief Auction
A helmet signed by 22 Indianapolis 500 winners, including 2008 winner Scott Dixon (above), is among the unique new items added recently to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway eBay auctions to benefit American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti, which already have raised more than $8,400. All proceeds from the eBay auction of racing memorabilia, which began Jan. 15, are being donated to Red Cross relief efforts for the devastating earthquake Jan. 12.

Four Americans To Take On World's Best Riders In 2010 At IMS
Four American riders will compete at the elite level of worldwide motorcycle racing in 2010, including the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on Aug. 27-29 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. 2006 World Champion Nicky Hayden, veteran Colin Edwards and rookie Ben Spies will represent the U.S. at the pinnacle of the sport, the MotoGP class. Rookie Kenny Noyes will race in the newest class in the World Championship, Moto2.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is contributing $10,000 to the American Red Cross to assist its relief efforts for Haitian earthquake victims. American Motorsports Media Name Franchitti Driver Of The Year
Dario Franchitti received more recognition for his 2009 IZOD IndyCar Series championship Jan. 16 by being named the recipient of the Jerry Titus Award during the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association's All-America Team dinner in Brownsburg, Ind. The Titus award, given in remembrance of the late racer/journalist, signifies the top vote-getter among All-America Team members as the driver of the year. Franchitti also won the award following his 2007 series championship and Indianapolis 500 victory.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is teaming with the American Red Cross through an online auction and Brickyard Authentics retail store price reduction to encourage race fans to contribute to relief efforts for Haitian earthquake victims. Autographed items are being auctioned on eBay, and anyone who donates $5 or more to the Red Cross at the two Brickyard Authentics retail outlets will receive a 20 percent savings on their purchase.

Reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves (above right) accepted his third BorgWarner Championship Driver's Trophy - affectionately known as the "Baby Borg" - from BorgWarner chairman and CEO Tim Manganello (above center) during a ceremony Jan. 13 as part of the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit.
