For the first time in more than a century, the racing action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be in the skies rather than on the pavement for the Red Bull Air Race. Tickets are on sale now for this exciting new event, Oct. 1-2, and for fans desiring an upscale viewing opportunity, two unique options are available in the Sky Lounge and Checkered Flag Club, located in the Pagoda Plaza. “We can’t wait to watch the inaugural Red Bull Air Race, and the views from the Sky Lounge and Checkered Flag Club will be particularly terrific,” Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles said. “What makes our race unique is that planes will take off and land within the facility, and our premium hospitality areas are just off the runway.” The Sky Lounge, with one-day packages starting at $525 and two-day packages on sale for $950, is the definitive Red Bull Air Race package for discerning guests seeking the finest race experience. Located in the East Chalet in Pagoda Plaza, the Sky Lounge has unrivaled views with five-star service and celebrated international cuisine. Guests in the Sky Lounge will also relax in a luxurious setting with comfortable seating, with complimentary bar service including soft drinks and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. The race will be broadcast live on TV screens and a video wall, with a high-quality sound system to fully experience the race. An entertainment program will include live interviews with pilots and other personalities, and all guests will receive a copy of the official Red Bull Air Race Magazine plus a Red Bull Air Race gift. Sky Lounge guests will also have access to the hospitality hangar walk.
