We have a new project for IMS.com, and we need your help. We want to learn more about your relationship to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and to the Indianapolis 500. Whether you’ve been to one “500” or the last 50, we want you to share your stories via email at fanmemories@brickyard.com , and we’ll in turn share those stories here. Do you have a Race Day routine that you never deviate from? Do you sit with the same friends and family, in the same grandstands or the same spot in the infield? Or have you introduced someone new to the experience of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing? Once you’re here, what’s on the menu in your tailgate? What’s in the cooler you bring to your seats? In terms of the race itself, do you have a favorite that comes to mind? How about a favorite driver? If you had a “front row” of your three favorites, who would sit on that row? Have you had a meeting with a driver or the chance to score an autograph that you love to tell and retell? We’d love your answers to any or all of these questions as we compile stories about you in advance of the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil. Once again, drop us a line at fanmemories@brickyard.com and tell us – and feel free to include a photo or two. We can’t wait to hear your stories!
