Rising star DJs NERVO and Dillon Francis also will perform creating a lineup of world-class DJs expanding on the past success of electronic dance music in the increasingly popular Snake Pit.

Snake Pit music and festivities will begin at 7 a.m. and will continue through the end of the race. “The Snake Pit presented by Miller Lite has become an extremely popular destination for younger fans during the Indianapolis 500,” said J. Douglas Boles, Indianapolis Motor Speedway president. “Hardwell is one of the hottest electronic music DJs in the world and his appearance on Race Day is proof that the new Snake Pit features the hottest performers for fans who come to enjoy the music and the race. Adding NERVO and Dillon Francis to the musical line-up makes the Snake Pit a ‘must see’ event for electronic music lovers.”

Robbert van de Corput, known worldwide as Hardwell, is the owner of the leading electronic dance music label, Revealed Recordings, and the youngest DJ ever to secure the coveted Top 100 DJs award.

A native of Breda, Netherlands, Hardwell has dominated recent charts with a stretch of six consecutive No. 1 hits on the Beatport Top 100. Worldwide hits include “Spaceman,” “Three Triangles (Losing My Religion),” “Countdown,” “Jumper,” “Apollo” and his highly-acclaimed collaboration with Dyro and Bright Lights “Never Say Goodbye.” Additionally, his latest chart-topping anthem, “Dare You” featuring Matthew Koma, has gained worldwide attention from both DJs and fans alike.

Hardwell’s impressive live shows have made him a global headliner at an endless array of sold-out concerts including his legendary performances at Coachella 2013, and the 2013 Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Fla., where armed with a cache of fresh and unheard music, Hardwell put on an amazing show that has garnered more than 20 million YouTube views.

Hardwell’s 2012 Tomorrowland performance in Boom, Belgium, has been seen more than 20 million times on YouTube, while his 2013 Tomorrowland set on YouTube has been viewed more than 18 million times. The rate at which Hardwell’s DJ sets are viewed by fans around the world has made him the single most in demand live set artist in today’s electronic music scene.

Hardwell launched his own radio show and podcast in March of 2011, “Hardwell On Air,” that is heard on more than 35 international radio stations, including Sirius XM in the U.S. and Radio FG in France and Belgium. His podcast has a solid spot in the iTunes Top 10 Podcasts chart in more than 40 countries.

Top ranked female DJs and native Australian sisters Mim and Liv Nervo, known worldwide by their stage name NERVO, began their own musical careers as songwriters and first hit it big in 2009 after co-writing the global hit “When Love Takes Over” for David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. The sisters also wrote songs for Ke$ha, Kylie Minogue and Armin Van Buuren before pursuing their own aspirations as performance artists.

NERVO climbed the charts quickly with mega hits “We’re All No One” with Afrojack and Steve Aoki, rising to No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart, and with “The Way We See The World” with Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, which became the official anthem of Tomorrowland 2011 and has received more than 68 million views on YouTube. Additional hits include “Reason” with Hook N Sling, “Something to Believe In” with Norman Doray and “Like Home” with Nicky Romero, which stood atop the Beatport chart for three weeks.

NERVO is also recognized for their style and positivity, featured regularly in fashion and pop culture magazines including Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, In Style and People.

Dillon Francis is a Los Angeles-based electronic music producer and D.J., who has broken through the throng of young music producers.

A pioneer in the moombahton genre, Francis first signed with Mad Decent, releasing his first official EP, “Westside,” in early 2011. His dancehall “Westside” and “Masta Blasta” became an underground sensation amongst the electronic dance community.

Francis has continued to collaborate and remix with other well-known artists including Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Diplo, A-Trak, Zedd, Madeon, Flux Pavilion, Jack Beats, Digitalism, Chuckie and Kill The Noise among other electronic music standouts.

These three electronic music artists combined have 2 million Twitter followers led by Hardwell (1.2 million), NERVO (500,000) and Dillon Francis (300,000).
