Fans can get extraordinary behind-the-scenes access before the 98th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis, and at the same time collect a rare piece of memorabilia from “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” Bronze Badge credentials are on sale for the 2014 Indianapolis 500 and the Grand Prix of Indianapolis at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway credential office. Bronze Badge holders have the opportunity to get up close and personal in Gasoline Alley with the drivers and crews as they prepare for the Indianapolis 500 and the Grand Prix of Indianapolis. Each badge costs $125 and provides daily gate and Gasoline Alley access from Opening Day on Thursday, May 8 through Friday, May 9, and from Sunday, May 11 through Saturday, May 24. The credential does not provide Race Day admission for either the Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday, May 10 or the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 25. Junior Garage Credentials are also available for $75 for ages 9 to 17, and also are not valid on race days. A parent or legal guardian, and the minor child credential holder, must both be present and each sign the required consent and liability release forms at the time of purchase of the credential. As an added value for all Month of May activities, Bronze Badge holders with a Race Day reserved seat or general admission ticket will be invited to participate in a pre-race grid walk on the morning of the Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday, May 10. The 2014 Bronze Badge will be a popular racing collectible, featuring the logo for this year’s Indianapolis 500 and an IndyCar Series race car. Certain restrictions apply. For more information on IMS Month of May Bronze Badges, call the IMS credential office at (317) 492-6500, or visit www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/grandprixofindianapolis/eventinfo. *** 2014 ticket information: Ticket information is available for the four events in 2014 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – the Grand Prix of Indianapolis, 98th Indianapolis 500, Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard and Red Bull Indianapolis GP.
