Indianapolis Motor Speedway fans can get complete, up-to-the-minute information about events at the Racing Capital of the World anywhere and anytime through a new IMS mobile app. The free Brickyard Mobile app is available for Apple devices through iTunes and for Android devices through the Android Market and Google Play. Many features are included on the app, such as ticket purchasing, event schedules, photos, news feeds, race results, track maps with key points of interest, Know Your Zone parking information and much more. “More and more people are using mobile devices as their primary source of connectivity, and this app will deliver the most important and requested information about IMS to our fans,” said Jarrod Krisiloff, IMS senior director of marketing. “This clean, effective new app will create an even stronger connection between the Speedway and its events and the fans.” Fans using the Brickyard Mobile app automatically will receive updated information on their mobile device, such as schedules, track action reports and more. Vital information, such as maps and schedules, also are stored within the app so fans can access it even without mobile connectivity. All information available in the Brickyard Mobile app also is available at the IMS mobile-optimized website, m.indianapolismotorspeedway.com. *** 2013 Indianapolis 500 tickets: Tickets are on sale for the 97th Indianapolis 500 Mile Race on Sunday, May 26 at IMS. Race Day ticket prices start at just $30. Fans can buy tickets online at www.ims.com/tickets, by calling the IMS ticket office at (317) 492-6700, or (800) 822-INDY outside the Indianapolis area, or by visiting the ticket office at the IMS Administration Building at the corner of Georgetown Road and 16th Street between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday-Friday.
