It’s the best way to get autographs! Get closer to the drivers by getting access to the Garage Area. For the Indianapolis 500 ONLY, fans can purchase access to the historic Gasoline Alley, also known as the Garage Area.
Why should you get a Bronze Badge?
Month-long access to the IMS Gasoline Alley, where you'll be able to get up close and personal with the drivers and mechanics of the Indianapolis 500. For nearly 100 years, Indy 500 teams have relocated their race teams to Gasoline Alley for the month of May. In this area, mechanics tune and repair race cars just inches away from fans. Only credentialed Bronze Badge holders get this level of access.
Remember to get your Bronze Badges quickly, because they are limited. We recommend you order early by mail. Lost or stolen Bronze Badges or coupons cannot be replaced, and there are no refunds.

Bronze Badges may be purchased at the IMS Credentials Office on a first-come, first-served basis and at the discretion of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at a cost of $100 per badge.

* A non-transferable Bronze Badge is issued to the specific individual redeeming the coupon and is usable by that person only. If Bronze Badge(s) are mailed, please confirm that the correct individual receives his/her assigned badge number. Transferring a Bronze Badge among individuals is strictly prohibited.

Here's how you get started:
The Junior Garage Credential may be purchased at the IMS Credentials Office at a cost of $75. Parent or legal guardian AND minor child must both be present and each sign the required consent and liability release forms at the time of purchase of the credential or redemption of coupon.

When can I use my Bronze Badge and Junior Garage Credential?
Bronze Badges and Junior Garage Credentials will be honored at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for gate admission and garage area access May 11 through May 25, 2013, during public gate hours and as directed by IMS personnel.
What doesn't a Bronze Badge or Junior Garage Credential get me?
Credentials do not provide seating or parking privileges and are not valid on Race Day, May 26.
Do I have to be a certain age to use a Bronze Badge?
Yes, 18 years of age to enter the Garage Area with a Bronze Badge.
Do I have to be a certain age to use a Junior Garage Credential?
Yes, you must be 9-17 years of age to enter the Garage Area as a Junior Garage Credential holder with an accompanied credentialed parent and/or legal guardian.
Is there a dress code in Gasoline Alley?
Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. Admittance will be denied if clothing is considered offensive, disruptive or unsuitable for any reason. The decision of management is final. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the pit or garage areas.
