New Web Site Puts IMS Productions' Award-Winning Work In Spotlight
Wednesday, January 16, 2008
A new Web site was launched recently to feature the various professional services offered by IMS Productions, the state-of-the-art video production arm of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The colorful, easy-to-navigate site can be found at www.imsproductions.tv.
"We're really excited about the look and functionality of our Web site," said Charlie Morgan, IMS Productions President and Chief Executive Officer. "It will allow us to display all of our world-class facilities and equipment, and give both existing and potential customers an in-depth look at our capabilities and work."
One of the key new features of the new Web site allows customers to book one of IMS Productions' five state-of-the-art remote productions trucks online. The customer submits dates, the type of truck needed, and company and contact information, and an IMSP representative will contact them to complete the booking request.
The new Web site is divided into six categories, easily accessed from a menu in the left column of each page. The categories:
•Remote Productions: Provides dimensions, a complete floor plan and equipment list for all five of IMS Productions' state-of-the-art remote productions trucks. Links to production equipment worksheets also are provided.
•Inside the Studio: Provides complete details about IMS Productions' two studio, five edit bays, two online rooms and audio suite, including "virtual tours" of all through streaming video.
•Portfolio: Provides case studies of IMS Productions' work for various clients, including video clips of television commercials created, written and produced by IMS Productions.
•IMS Radio Network: Provides information about on-air talent for IMS Radio Network, the official radio network of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Web visitors hear an audio clip of IMS Radio Network calls from famous IMS race moments while browsing this section of the site.
•Staff: Provides a detailed IMS Productions staff list, by department, with e-mail addresses for all staff members and general IMS Productions contact information.
•Company: Provides a message from IMS Productions President and Chief Executive Officer Charlie Morgan.
IMS Productions provides technical services to ABC and ESPN for broadcasting of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race and the other races of the IndyCar Series. In addition, the firm is noted for its excellent production content.
In the last two years, IMSP has garnered Telly, Summit and the Cine Golden Eagle awards. "Heart to Heart," a documentary about young Indianapolis resident Bailey Hunsberger, won best documentary in the New York Independent Film Festival earlier this year and was also one of 60 films selected out of more than 500 entries to be screened at this year's prestigious Heartland Film Festival.
IMSP also operates the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network, the pioneer in radio racing networks, originating broadcasts of the Indianapolis 500, all IndyCar Series races and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.
Also, the firm operates its own production truck division, with broadcast control trucks provided for racing events and also used in the offseason by a number of networks and independent producers.
