Vote Now For Energizer Bunny's Return To IMS Balloon Festival
If you're a fan of the IMS Centennial Era Balloon Festival, you can have a direct say whether or not the iconic Energizer Bunny "Hot Hare" Balloon returns this May to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Centennial Era Balloon Festival fans should visit the Energizer Bunny's page on Facebook and type a message on the bunny's "Wall" that they want to see the Hot Hare balloon at the Centennial Era Balloon Festival on May 8. Voting is open until 1 a.m. (ET) Monday, March 8.

Proceeds From IMS Haiti Benefit Auctions Exceed $20,000
Generous bids from motorsports fans around the world have raised more than $20,000 for American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti through continuing Indianapolis Motor Speedway online auctions. All proceeds from the eBay auctions of racing memorabilia, which began Jan. 15, are being donated to Red Cross relief efforts for the devastating earthquake Jan. 12. The auctions continue, including autographed MotoGP items from superstars Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Nicky Hayden (above)!

A wide variety of popular Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 yearbooks is available now at the IMS Online Store and IMS Hall of Fame Museum Gift Shop, giving fans an in-depth, colorful look back at some of the great races in Indianapolis Motor Speedway history. The yearbooks, published by Carl Hungness from 1973-97, feature a complete recap of that year's race, colorful pictures and detailed historical information about the complete history of the event to that date.

Bernard Named CEO Of Indy Racing League
Randy Bernard, longtime CEO of Professional Bull Riders, Inc., has been named CEO of the Indy Racing League, the sanctioning body of the IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights. His hiring was announced today by Jeffrey Belskus, president and CEO of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, the home of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and owner of the Indy Racing League. IMS Contributing $10,000 To Red Cross Relief Efforts In Haiti
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is contributing $10,000 to the American Red Cross to assist its relief efforts for Haitian earthquake victims. Motorsports fans also can contribute to the American Red Cross in many ways, including a continuing online auction at the IMS eBay site and a Brickyard Authentics retail store price reduction. Among the new items added to the auction is a VIP ticket package to the 2010 Indianapolis 500.

American Motorsports Media Name Franchitti Driver Of The Year
Dario Franchitti received more recognition for his 2009 IZOD IndyCar Series championship Jan. 16 by being named the recipient of the Jerry Titus Award during the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association's All-America Team dinner in Brownsburg, Ind. The Titus award, given in remembrance of the late racer/journalist, signifies the top vote-getter among All-America Team members as the driver of the year. Franchitti also won the award following his 2007 series championship and Indianapolis 500 victory.

IMS Teaming With American Red Cross For Haitian Earthquake Relief
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is teaming with the American Red Cross through an online auction and Brickyard Authentics retail store price reduction to encourage race fans to contribute to relief efforts for Haitian earthquake victims. Autographed items are being auctioned on eBay, and anyone who donates $5 or more to the Red Cross at the two Brickyard Authentics retail outlets will receive a 20 percent savings on their purchase.

Chevrolet Camaro SS To Pace 2010 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race
Officials from Chevrolet and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway unveiled the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Indianapolis 500 Pace Car at the Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum Dec. 18. The 2010 Chevy Camaro Indianapolis 500 Pace Car is a 21st century sports car that looks to the future with a nod to the heritage of both the car and the race. The first year for Camaro to pace the Indianapolis 500 was in 1967, the year the Camaro made its debut.

Free Admission, Tour Dec. 23 At IMS Museum For '12 Days' Promotion
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum is offering free admission to the Museum and the narrated track tour on Wednesday, Dec. 23 as part of the "12 Free Days of Indy Christmas."
