The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Online Store has been completely redesigned to create an easier, faster shopping experience. The Store features various apparel and collectibles from IMS and its three world-class events, products from the IndyCar Series and Brickyard Crossing Golf Course, and photos from the vast IMS Photography archives.

Start Your Engines This Weekend At Preview Parties At IMS!
Two preview parties, featuring the action of the IRL IndyCar Series and NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, will take place Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to kick off the 2007 Summer of Speed. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Admission is FREE, with a cash buffet and cash bar available.

IMS Productions Wins 25 Prestigious Telly Awards
IMS Productions, the state-of-the-art video production arm of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, won 25 prestigious 2006 Telly Awards in various categories. The Telly Awards honor the best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, and the finest video and film productions.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has reached a licensing agreement with Waterford Crystal to produce crystal awards, premiums and consumer products for all IMS events. Waterford Crystal has a wealth of experience in designing and producing distinctive trophies, as its artisans have created awards for events in Formula One, PGA golf and other sports.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has hired Hardcard Holdings, a leading motorsports management and consulting firm specializing in motorcycle events, IMS President Joie Chitwood announced Feb. 19. Hardcard specializes in consulting, sales, media and brand management services connected to the motorsports industry.

Longtime IMS Executive McAtee Dies
Longtime Indianapolis Motor Speedway executive Buddy McAtee died Feb. 12 in Indianapolis. McAtee, an employee of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and its affiliated companies since 1987, was 53. "To say I will miss him would be an understatement," IMS CEO Tony George said. "For all who knew him, we are privileged. For all who have worked with him, we feel honored."

IMS CEO George Named Co-Chair Of Indianapolis Super Bowl Committee
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Chief Executive Officer Tony George was named as one of four co-chairs of the organization that is working to bring Super Bowl XLV to Indianapolis in 2011. George, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson were announced as co-chairs of Indianapolis 2011, Inc.

Indy 500 Winner Montoya Impressed With Debut Victory In Rolex 24
Juan Pablo Montoya has a knack for making a statement on the racetrack. Montoya won the 2000 Indianapolis 500 in his first attempt with Target Chip Ganassi Racing, and teamed up with Scott Pruett and Salvador Duran to claim the 45th Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 27-28 in his first endurance race at Daytona International Speedway.
