Centennial Era Concours d'Elegance Coming To IMS In June 2010
Some of the world's finest classic and antique automobiles will take center stage at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Centennial Era Concours d'Elegance on June 18-20, 2010. Speedway President and COO Joie Chitwood announced the one-time event during the Judges Breakfast on Saturday, March 14, at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in Amelia Island, Fla.

Fans Can Celebrate IndyCar Series Opener April 5 At Brickyard Crossing
IndyCar Series fans are welcome to celebrate the start of the 2009 season at a Season Opener Viewing Party on Sunday, April 5 at the Brickyard Crossing Pavilion on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be televised on large-screen televisions during the party, which starts at 12:30 p.m. The race telecast starts at 2 p.m.

AT&T Real Yellow Pages is taking its partnership with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to greater heights with presenting sponsorship of the Centennial Era Balloon Festival, IMS and AT&T Real Yellow Pages officials announced March 9. The Centennial Era Balloon Festival presented by AT&T Real Yellow Pages is set for Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3 and will feature many colorful hot-air balloons, including the AT&T Real Yellow Pages Balloon.

Famed Artist Kinkade Unveils 2009 Indy 500 Program Art At Gala
Renowned artist Thomas Kinkade unveiled a new Studio Masterwork painting that will serve as the cover of the collectible 2009 Indianapolis 500 Program during the Centennial Era Gala on Feb. 27 in Indianapolis. Described as a celebration on canvas, the painting spans the 100 years of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's history.

Celebrate IMS Centennial Era With 2009 'Grounds Tour'
At a venue where history has been made for a century, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum will in 2009 set a record for the most behind-the-scenes Grounds Tours in a season. IMS Unveils Centennial Era-Themed Event Logos For 2009 Season
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway recently unveiled the logos for all three motor racing events in 2009 at the legendary Brickyard, the 93rd Indianapolis 500, 16th Allstate 400 at the Brickyard and second Red Bull Indianapolis GP. All three event logos share a similar design element in the bottom section, incorporating the words "Centennial Era" in reference to IMS' celebration of the 100th anniversary of the facility in 2009.

George Pleased With Pace, Progress Of Reunification In 2008

IMS Announces 2009 Centennial Gala Presenting Sponsors
Four companies woven deeply into the fabric of the central Indiana community will serve as presenting sponsors for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Centennial Gala: Just Marketing International, Old National Bank, the Indiana Pacers and Honda. Stewart's Foundation Awards $20,000 To Indiana Racehorse Charity
The charitable organization of two-time Allstate 400 at the Brickyard winner Tony Stewart has awarded a $20,000 grant to Indianapolis-based Friends of Ferdinand, Inc. (FFI), a not-for-profit volunteer organization that works with owners and trainers at the state's two horse tracks to identify and obtain thoroughbreds that are nearing the end of their racing careers.
