Lazier Bumps Into Field In Dramatic Final Moments; Roth Hangs On

IMS Racing Kickoff Party Feb. 17 To Benefit Vogler Scholarship Fund
Central Indiana racing fans can take the green flag on the 2008 motorsports season by watching the Daytona 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Racing Kickoff Party on Sunday, Feb. 17. The party will benefit the Rich Vogler Memorial Scholarship Fund, a program that began in 1990 in memory of the five-time Indianapolis 500 starter and multiple USAC champion.

IMS Wins Prestigious Formula One Promotional Award
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has won the FIA Formula One Promotional Trophy, presented to the best promoter and event organizer in Formula One each year. It's the second time in seven years IMS has won the award, also capturing the honor in 2000 after the inaugural United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis.
