2014 Super Weekend, Red Bull Indianapolis GP Tickets On Sale Now

Tickets are on sale for the 21st Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard and the seventh Red Bull Indianapolis GP, as the exciting NASCAR/TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and MotoGP World Championship events return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2014.

The Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard takes place July 24-27, while the Red Bull Indianapolis GP is scheduled for Aug. 8-10.

Fans have three quick, convenient methods to buy tickets:

  • Online: Visit www.ims.com/tickets. Tickets are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
  • Phone: Call 800-822-INDY or 317-492-6700 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday.
  • In Person: Visit the IMS Ticket Office at the IMS Administration Building at the corner of Georgetown Road and 16th Street between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday.

A variety of special offers are available to fans who buy reserved seats for the Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard or Red Bull Indianapolis GP.

Fans who buy reserved seats for the Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on Sunday, July 27 and the Indiana 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race Saturday, July 26 will receive a free track walk during pre-race ceremonies Sunday, July 27.

Benefits for reserved-seat holders at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP include access to purchase MotoGP paddock passes and special prices on Friday-Saturday combination general admission tickets, motorcycle track laps, VIP motorcycle parking and automobile parking.

The stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series will race on the historic, 2.5-mile oval, respectively, during the Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard on Sunday, July 27 and the Indiana 250 on Saturday, July 26.

Indiana native Ryan Newman will defend his title in the annual Sprint Cup Series classic at IMS, challenged by a host of standouts, including four-time Brickyard winners Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, two-time Brickyard winner Tony Stewart and fan favorites Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick.

An exciting, new era of North American sports-car racing will be on display Thursday, July 24 and Friday, July 25 on the new-look, 14-turn, 2.434-mile IMS Grand Prix road course, reconfigured for more speed and passing opportunities.

The new TUDOR United SportsCar Championship – featuring prototypes and GT cars on track simultaneously – will compete in the Brickyard Grand Prix while ultra-competitive showroom stock sports cars will race in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge racing in the Brickyard Sports Car Challenge. Both races are Friday, July 25, creating a value-packed day of action for fans. Practice takes place Thursday, July 24.

The Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard is the only event at IMS with racing on the oval and road course during the same weekend.

All of the stars of the MotoGP World Championship – the most prestigious motorcycle racing series in the world – will return to IMS for the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on a new date, one week earlier than in 2013.

Superstars such as 2013 rookie phenom and Red Bull Indianapolis GP winner Marc Marquez, past Indy winners Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, and American favorites Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards will practice Friday, Aug. 8, practice and qualify Saturday, Aug. 9 and race Sunday, Aug. 10 on the new-look, 16-turn, 2.645-mile circuit featuring exciting new turn configurations and braking zones, creating more passing opportunities.

Additional spectator mounds and grandstands also will enhance the fan experience for the sports car races July 25 and the entire MotoGP weekend in August by providing more exciting vantage points to see the action in the infield section of the course.

Tickets already are on sale for the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday, May 10 and the 98th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 25, both IndyCar Series events at IMS.
