The 2014 Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard, the marquee event of the Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard, will take place on Sunday, July 27 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. (ET) Monday, Nov. 4 for the 21st annual NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and the third annual Indiana 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on the 2.5-mile oval, and the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge races Friday, July 25 on the new-look, 14-turn, 2.434-mile IMS road course. The Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard is the 20th of 36 points races on the 2014 Sprint Cup Series schedule, released Oct. 15 by NASCAR. Indiana native Ryan Newman won the race – one of the most prestigious in NASCAR – in July 2013. He will defend his title next July against competition that includes four-time Brickyard winners Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, two-time Brickyard winner and Indiana native Tony Stewart, and fan favorites Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick.
