Fuzzy's Ultra Premium Vodka Celebrates Indy 500 With Checkered Flag Bottle

Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka has unveiled the Checkered Flag Limited Edition bottle for its award-winning spirit to commemorate its involvement with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and INDYCAR.
Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka, the Official Vodka of the INDYCAR, the Official Vodka of the 2013 Indianapolis 500 and primary sponsor for Ed Carpenter Racing, began the concept of the Checkered Flag Limited Edition bottle at last year’s Indy 500, as the Indiana-based company looked to create a bottle that showcased its passion for the world’s biggest racing event and the highly competitive open-wheel series.
With more than four years of involvement with Indianapolis Motor Speedway and INDYCAR, Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka looked to capture the history and tradition of the Indianapolis 500 in a bottle. After a long process of design and production spanning nearly a year, the Checkered Flag Limited Edition is available at retail.
The Checkered Flag bottle retains a similar look to the original design, but the unique golf imagery course has been replaced with the view from Turn 1 of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway looking down the front straightaway at the start of the Indianapolis 500. The “Wing and Wheel” symbol of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is prominently featured on the bottle, as well as the checkered flag top completing the bottle.
No stranger to taking the checkered flag, Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka captured the prestigious Chairman’s Trophy at the 2012 Ultimate Spirits Challenge for the Best Unflavored Vodka, as well as a Great Value Award. Fuzzy’s has also received the coveted gold medal and 94 rating from the Beverage Testing Institute three times.
