Friday before the INDYCAR Grand Prix, Gasoline Alley and the INDYCAR garages are open to everyone with their paid admission. Plus, kids 15 and under get in free. Catch drivers for autographs and selfies on "The Midway," including the Verizon IndyCar Series Fan Village. Then, grab a seat and watch them fight for the pole during qualifications that afternoon.

4. Walk on the Famed IMS Racetrack and Take Over Victory Circle

Here’s an experience you won’t want to miss. Shortly after the completion of the INDYCAR Grand Prix, fans have a unique opportunity to walk onto the track. You can stroll along the straightaway, snap pictures at the Yard of Bricks and take part in the victory celebration. Bring the crew to experience the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a whole new way. New for 2017 – enjoy a special Victory View of the podium celebration! During the post-race Track Invasion, fans will be able to celebrate in the heart of Victory Circle with the Verizon IndyCar Series paddock. Join fellow race fans as podium finishers arrive and celebrate their successful drives in the INDYCAR Grand Prix! Please note, access to the Victory View is first come, first served, so be sure to head to Victory Circle prior to the end of the race and save your spot.

If you like having a lot of choices, the INDYCAR Grand Prix is the race for you. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the lawn seating on the viewing mounds.
